Theia, titan of ancient Greek mythology, destroyed to create something more, a celestial body that, according to the theory of the “giant impact”, hit the earth billions of years ago, creating the moon and causing a series of reactions, which brought us the world as we know it today. And today the story is being told with renewed vigor by Italian metal band Kalahari with the release of their new EP “Theia”, which contains 5 killer tracks that clearly leave you wanting more !! Wicked riffs/licks, killer bass lines, thunderous drums and Nicola Pellacani’s clean and growl vocals make this EP more than a winner !! I’m usually not a ballad kind of guy, but the lyrics got me on this one. The jewel of this EP in my opinion is the beautiful, but powerful I Am The Mountain !! A song about survival,perseverance and respect !! Just remember when the snow melts away, Kalahari will still be here strong and free  \m/\m/
