Hamilton, Ontario native Bill Majours aka The Foreign Films has finally completed his 3 album, 6 side labour of love entitled “The Record Collector” !! The Foreign Films were first featured on Trike’s Trax a little over 3 years ago in Aug of 2015 upon completion of side 3. Majours has released this 3 album, 6 sided, 31 song monstrosity of a masterpiece, 1 side at a time over a period of several years. Says Majours :  “As an artist I set forth to create my own musical universe. After years of writing, playing and recording I’ve completed a lifelong dream; a triple vinyl concept LP. It’s a musical time machine, interwoven with psychedelic mythology; it’s the technicolor soundtrack to my life; simultaneously an imaginary fable. A Phoenix from the flames or swan song, my heart and soul went in this record.” If you like the music the British Invasion brought you, you’ll love this release !! FM Berlin

Imagine you’re a band recording an album and after 2 years of trying to get that perfect sound right, you decide the only way is to get that sound right is to create your own studio which is what Moncton band FM Berlin did !! They have released their long awaited debut album “At Least You’re Having Fun” I say debut because it’s their 1st recording as FM Berlin, having recorded one previous album under the name 60LPs. The new album was produced using email and skype by two Toronto based producers, Jason Dufour and Josh Bowman. The album features 9 gritty alt rock sometimes punky songs, morphing many musical genres into that distinct FM Berlin sound.  The band consists of Corey Hachey, who I don’t think has any limits to his range on vocals, Matthew Clowes on guitar/vocals, Glen Farquhar on bass/vocals and Nick Michaud on drums !! All 9 tracks on the album are great, but standout tracks for me on the album are : Yer Honour(1st single), At Least You’re Having Fun with it’s infectious do wop be bop chorus and TV with a guitar lick that I think may have some Dead Kennedy influence !!
